Videobox: Lightbox for videos

Videobox is a 6kb script, which shows your videos in the page with an overlay.

Usage:

  • Include 3 javascript files to your page
  • Include the css file
  • Add the rel=”vidbox” to your video page’s link to show video links in Videobox
  • add title=”my caption” to add caption to a box

jQuery ScrollTo Plugin

Customizable jQuery plugin ScrollTo for scrolling elements or the window itself.

The plugins also supports a hash of settings to customize:

  • Axes to be scrolled, ‘x’, ‘y’, ‘xy’ or ‘yx’.
  • Animation length (or by default, no animation)
  • Easing method
  • Whether to take in account, the margin of the target element
  • The possibility to add/deduct from the end position a defined amount of pixels.
  • If both axes are chosen, whether to animate together, or queue the animations.
  • If queing, a callback function to be called after the first scrolling.
  • A callback function to be called after the whole scrolling ended.

Lightview image viewer 1.0.1

Lightview is a Prototype/ Scriptaculous image viewer with adjustable rounded corners, smart image resizing, build in slideshow and works on all modern browsers.

When you open lightview.js you will see a number of options you can change. Some of those options you can use with Lightview:

  • backgroundColor: The background color of the lightview.
  • border: Size of the border
  • buttons.opacity: Changes the opacity of the buttons inside lightview. Use: { normal: 0.65, hover: 1 }
  • effects: By default effects are used when Scriptaculous Effects are available, can also be true or false.
  • overlay: Set the overlay opacity, and toggle the overlay using { display: true, opacity: 0.8 }
  • radius: The pixel radius of the corners.
  • slideshow.delay: The time each image is visible during a slideshow.
  • transition: Scriptaculous transition during resizing.
  • zIndex: zIndex of the lightview, the overlay has this value – 1.

Add the following anywhere in your website:

Add CSS styles on your website to specify the appearance of the checkboxes and radio buttons. Add styles for the classes checked and unchecked for checked / unchecked checkboxes respectively, and likewise use the classes selected and unselected for radio buttons that are checked / unchecked.
