TinyBox – a Lightweight and Standalone Modal Window Script

TinyBox is a lightweight (3.5kb) and standalone modal window script – does not depend on any JavaScript frameworks.

At only 3.5KB it doesn’t include any slideshow capabilities built-in but allows for any AJAX or HTML content. It can also be used for images and auto hiding alerts. The popups fade in/out and dynamically size based on the content if enabled. The styling is completely customizable through the simple CSS.

MooSlideBox 3.2

MooSlideBox – the new mooSlide 3.2 is easier to use than ever as it has become a mootools class, with a lot of options that you can influence.

The best of it: The slider can contain ANY content, so put videos, flash, images, text or html stuff in it. You can also have more than one box on your page. In addition you can now define, from where the box should fly in: from top or from bottom.

Script has been tested in Firefox, IE6/IE7, Opera 9.2 and Safari for Windows.

LightForm – Free Ajax/PHP Contact Form

LightForm is a free Ajax/PHP contact form. It combines FormCheck2 for fields validation and NiceForms to style text fields and textareas.

  • Form Validation using FormCheck2.
  • Spam Check.
  • Display user IP, user agent and referrer in the message.
  • Display a dialog box when message sent succesfully.
  • Inputs and textareas are styled with NiceForms.
  • Works in the most recent browsers (IE6+, Firefox, Opera, Safari and Netscape).

Note: Form validation won’t work anymore if users disable Javascript. Released under Creative Commons Attribution v2.5.

mooSlideBox 3 – Ajax based slider

mooSlideBox 3 – a slider for mootools with support for additional html tags and images that slide from the bottom of the screen upwards. Small and slim ajax based extension or replacement of the common “lightbox”. Works in IE 6/7, Opera and Firefox.

You can define an image, text, heading and additional content to be displayed.

Note: As many users complain that the slider isn’t unobstrusive, there’s a simple solution. Change the effect in the mooslide.js.  Replace the Fx.Transitions.Bounce.easeOut with something like Fx.Transitions.linear.
