Shadowbox Media Player

Shadowbox is a cross-browser, cross-platform, cleanly-coded and fully-documented media viewer application written entirely in JavaScript.

Using Shadowbox, website authors can display pictures and movies in all major browsers without navigating away from the linking page.

Supports the following browsers:

  • Safari 2+
  • Opera 9+
  • Internet Explorer 6+

Shadowbox supports many different media formats via the Flash, QuickTime, and Windows Media Player browser plugins. Windows media files are supported on the Mac via the Flip4Mac QuickTime plugin.

Lightview image viewer 1.0.1

Lightview is a Prototype/ Scriptaculous image viewer with adjustable rounded corners, smart image resizing, build in slideshow and works on all modern browsers.

When you open lightview.js you will see a number of options you can change. Some of those options you can use with Lightview:

  • backgroundColor: The background color of the lightview.
  • border: Size of the border
  • buttons.opacity: Changes the opacity of the buttons inside lightview. Use: { normal: 0.65, hover: 1 }
  • effects: By default effects are used when Scriptaculous Effects are available, can also be true or false.
  • overlay: Set the overlay opacity, and toggle the overlay using { display: true, opacity: 0.8 }
  • radius: The pixel radius of the corners.
  • slideshow.delay: The time each image is visible during a slideshow.
  • transition: Scriptaculous transition during resizing.
  • zIndex: zIndex of the lightview, the overlay has this value – 1.

ImageFlow 0.6 – Javascript Gallery

ImageFlow – Free JavaScript Gallery

This new version of ImageFlow features a browsercompatible arrow key support and some usability improvements concerning the mouse wheel use and the embedding of the imageflow div container. ImageFlow now just interacts on mouse wheel events if the cursor is over the main div container “imageflow”. This enables the user to scroll a long website and to navigate through the images with his mouse wheel.
